Beszel
Tracks CPU, memory, disk, network, and Docker container metrics across servers with historical data, alerts, and a web dashboard.
About
Beszel is a lightweight server monitoring platform with a web dashboard, Docker statistics, historical data, and configurable alerts. It is aimed at homelab owners and anyone running their own servers who wants resource usage and disk health in one place.
It has two parts: a hub built on PocketBase that serves the dashboard, and a small agent that runs on each monitored system and reports metrics. Setup needs little manual configuration, and it tracks everything from CPU and memory to GPU usage, temperatures, and ZFS pool health.
Key features
Configurable alerts for most metrics, with many notification services.
Docker and Podman container stats: CPU, memory, and network history per container.
Network monitoring of response time and interruptions from agents.
S.M.A.R.T. disk health data with notifications on drive failure.
Multi-user support where admins can share systems across users.
OAuth2 and OIDC login, with the option to disable password auth.
Automatic backups to disk or S3-compatible storage.
Tracks CPU, memory, disk I/O, GPU usage, temperature, fan speed, battery, and ZFS pools.
Requirements
Needs a hub plus one agent on each monitored system. The hub is a web app built on PocketBase. Docker or Podman is only needed for container stats.
Ways to run it
Docker (hub and agent images)
