About

Pelican Panel is a game server control panel with a web UI for creating and managing game servers. It is built for communities, hosting providers, and self-hosters, and works as a modern alternative in the Pterodactyl ecosystem.

Each game server runs in its own Docker container through the Wings daemon, so the host machine stays free of game-specific dependencies. Game support comes from eggs, which cover Minecraft, SteamCMD titles, standalone games, voice servers, Discord bots, databases, and software like Gitea and Grafana.

Key features

  • Web UI for creating and managing game servers
  • Each game server runs in an isolated Docker container through Wings
  • Eggs for Minecraft, SteamCMD games, and standalone titles like Palworld, Factorio, and Terraria
  • Voice server eggs for Teamspeak, Mumble, and Lavalink, plus Discord bots like Redbot and JMusicBot
  • Runs databases such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Redis, and MongoDB
  • Software eggs for Gitea, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ
  • Generic programming environments for Node.js, Python, Java, and C#
  • Suitable for personal servers, communities, and hosting providers

Requirements

Docker and the Wings daemon (github.com/pelican/wings), which runs each game server in its own container.

Ways to run it
